12 Ga, Serial # 106003 The Remington Model 11 F-Grade 6 was the highest grade special order shotgun ever available. With Circassian Walnut deluxe stocks with extensive fine checkering. Hand engraved with multiple vignettes of Snipe and Hunting Dogs surrounded in a full coverage of scroll & vine with subtle dot punch backgrounds. The right side has vignettes of fly Geese with quail and Snipe with matching scroll. The trigger guard has a small vignette of a hunting dogs head. The tangs and all areas are full coverage engrave. The breech of the Solid rib Bbl is engraved with matching scroll work . The round knob stocks or highly figured circassian walnut with piano finish have 14" LOP over factory "REMINGTON UMC" monogrammed butt plate. Condition, Exceptionally fine with 95% finish on receiver with losses at trigger guard and high point edges. The barrel is excellent with blue finish thinning and toning to plum. Brilliant bright bore. The Circassian walnut stocks are excellent with most all varnish remaining and some light impressions. Engraved "6" under chamber to verify Grade 6. The Model 11 was Remington's most successful automatic shotgun until the introduction of the 100 series.
