43949 Winchester 97 Trench Slide Shotgun 12ga
12ga Serial # E842921 Winchester Model 97 Trench Shotgun with 20" Cyl, marked Bbl, 6 row ventilated steel barrel shroud with Winchester single line patent on left side of bayonet lug assembly. Varnished thin wrist walnut pistol grip stock with Winchester plastic butt plate with factory monogram at center. Mfg 1936 with sling swivels, blue finish and matching numbers on frame and barrel assembly. A small (53) is stamped on barrel trunnion. Most all of these Trench Guns ended up being purchase by the US Military for WW2 use. Condition, Very fine with over 97% finish on receiver with some edge wear and carry wear on underside. Bore is brilliant bright. Barrel retains most all finish with some light edge wear. Stocsk are very fine with some added finish evident at wrist. Mechanically excellent . C&R. Barrel 20" C&R
