16ga Serial # E961600 Winchester Model 1897 16 Ga, with polished blue finish and varnished walnut stocks with factory Winchester butt plate. A very difficult gun to find in fine condition. Mechanics and marking crisp, mechanically excellent. Desirable 16 GA. Manufactured in 1943. Chamber marked 2 3/4", choke marked modified, and 13 3/4" LOP. Very fine overall with bright bore and reaining most original finish with some areas of oxidation and light marring in stocks. Solidlock up and properly operating action. Barrel 28" C&R
