.30 Carbine Serial # 1768669 Scarce WW2 Irwin Pedersen M1 Carbine, Receiver manufactured as part of the first production block from Irwin-Pedersen between November 1942 to March 1943 in the 1762520-1875039 serial number range. "11-42" Dated Underwood barrel, "J.M.Q." type III front barrel band, "N" front sight, "J.A.O." rear sight, "N" trigger housing, "WM" hammer, "CM" flip safety, "'EW'" magazine catch, "SG" bolt, Rock-Ola operating rod, "Pedersen U" marked two rivet handguard, and a low wood stock with a partly visible boxed cartouche that appears to read "BA/HAB" and yellow painted "26" on the bottom of the grip area. Condition Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with most of the finish. Stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled, with a few light scratches, and numerous scattered scuffs, scratches and dents on the handguard. Mechanically excellent. Barrel 18" C&R
