.44-40 Serial # 453110 Winchester Model 1873 3rd Model cal, 44-40 with round Bbl, Blue finish and walnut stocks with crescent butt plate with trap for cleaning rod. Condition, Fine overall with a very strong bore with darkness in grooves. Mechanically excellent. Finish has toned to patina with some pitting. Stocks are very good with period of use bruises and a small chip at lower tang. Barrel 24 1/2" 1883 No 4473
