12ga Serial # 2000 / 2001 / 2001 Fine cased pair of William Evans / by Purdey 12 Bore 1889 mfd boxlock doubles with double triggers and ejectors. 2 3/4" chambers choked Mod & IC Profusley scroll engraved receivers and top levers withartistically carved fences. Accoimpanied by copy of leger indicating these are the BEST finish available and to be supplied with the oak & leather travel case. 14 1/4" OP over checkered butt 1 3/8" DAC 2 1/4" DAH. 7 Lbs 1 oz.Conditions. Very good as English refreshed & sleeved with barrels retaining most all finish with brilliant bore. Stocks are very good with sharp checkering and indication of earlier finishing.
