Large "US" at tail of flat lock plate. Brass identification shield with large "B/ 9 / 72" inscribed and inlaid at to of wrist./ Condition, Very good with even brown / grey uncleaned patina. Dark bore and properly functioning lock. Stock is very good with period of use impressions and bruises. Barrel 39" NO4473
