75 Rev War period French Charleville Flintlock musket with 45" 75 Cal, smoothbore barrel with 3 iron retaining bands. Lock has traces of "CHARLEVILLE" in script discernable at center of lock. A crudely scratches "PX" is marked on left side of stock. All iton furniture remains in a uncleaned smooth dark brown patina. Bore is dark and stock is very good with bruises and impressions. Lock and mechanism are mechanically fine Barrel 45" NO4473
